Here’s the video from Lisa & Alex’s Scottish wedding - the La Belle Epoque 1950’s headband is now up for Auction with all the proceeds going to UNICEF go to www.labelleepoquevintage.co.uk for details!

2people1life Silent Auction

The lovely Lisa from 2people1life chose to model a La Belle Epoque 1950’s headband at her Scottish Wedding.

She and her partner Alex are an extraordinary couple on an extraordinary mission. They’re travelling around the globe: exchanging wedding vows time and time again in some of the world’s most exciting and unique places.

By celebrating their love for each other through these ceremonies they’ve given themselves the opportunity to not only experience different cultures and marriage traditions, but also to raise money and awareness for UNICEF.

At the end of their trip, they’ll decide which place was their favourite, return there, and legally tie the knot once and for all.

You can read all about Lisa and Alex’s amazing journey in more detail on their blog here: http://2people1life.com/blog/our-journey/

But where does my Silent Auction come in?

Well, after seeing the amazing photos that Graham from Graham Warwick Photographer had taken - and reading about Lisa and Alex’s journey - I decided to set up a Silent Auction with all the proceeds from the 1950’s headpiece going to UNICEF.

So if you’d like the opportunity to own this beautiful one-off piece, please email Labelleepoqueglasgow@gmail.com with your auction offer.

You can start bidding straight away…

The auction closing date and time is Friday 9th May, 11pm.

The highest bidder will be contacted with the good news on Saturday 10th May.

If you’re not in the market for a one-off vintage headband, I’d still encourage you to pay a visit to  http://2people1life.com/blog/our-journey/ and consider making a small donation to UNICEF.

Thanks for reading – and happy bidding!

I think Glasgow is filled with some of the best vintage and antique shops in the UK.
Yesterday I went for a ratch (this is Cumbrian slang for searching) in Annie’s Attic my favorite antique shop in Glasgow.
I was delighted to find some broken pearls and a small selection of silk flowers.
